LEMON ENTERDONAT

This product is grown at most in Turkey in the world and considerably in Eastern Mediterranean Region. This type that may be harvested early has the largest share in Turkey’s exports.

The lemon is large, long and cylindrical. Fruit coat is thin, light green and bright. Fruit flesh is greenish yellow. Fruit diameter is 55 – 60 mm, fruit weight is 105 – 110 gr. The number of seeds per fruit is 6-7.

LEMON LAMAS

Lamas which is the earliest harvested lemon after Enterdonat in Turkey is a very good quality lemon. It is very suitable for storage and transportation.

Fruit is medium in size, long cylindrical with light neck ring. Fruit coat is medium in thickness, smooth and bright with lemon yellow color. The fruit flesh is yellow. Fruit diameter is 60 – 65 mm, fruit weight is 110 – 120 gr. The number of seeds per fruit is 3-5 pieces.

LEMON ITALIAN

Known for its different names in the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, this lemon type is known as the Italian Memeli or the Black Limon.

It is of high quality and suitable for storage and transportation. Its fruits are like a peg top, the fruit coat is lemon yellow and is slightly rough and medium in thickness. The fruit flesh is yellow. Fruit diameter is 60 – 65 mm, fruit weight is 125 – 130 gr. The number of seeds per grain is 8-9.

LEMON KÜTDİKEN

It is the oldest known and most exported type of lemons. This type is widely grown in Turkey. It is the best quality lemon in the world in terms of its interior quality and smell.

It is extremely suitable for storage and transportation. Fruits are in the shape of ellipse. The fruit coat is light green, yellow or bright yellow. The fruit flesh is yellow. Fruit diameter is 60 – 65 mm, fruit weight is 120 – 125 gr. The number of seeds per grain is 10-11 pieces.

ORANGE WASHINGTON NAVEL

It is the oldest and most known orange type in the Mediterranean Region. It is the most preferred type among oranges sold for fresh consumption. It is suitable for storage and transportation.

There is a prominent navel on the margin of the large, round-oval fruit types. The fruit coat is dark orange and slightly rough. Fruit flesh is orange, too. This seedless fruit has a diameter of 78 – 80 mm and a fruit weight of 200 – 250 gr.

ORANGE NAVELINA

It is a very fertile type grown in the Mediterranean region and its harvest is carried out two weeks earlier than Washington Navel.

This type, which has smaller fruit than Washington Navel, is also more oval in terms of shape. Fruits reach the inner ripeness before the coat color. Fruit coat is red orange. Fruit flesh is orange. This seedless fruit has a diameter of 70 – 80 mm and a fruit weight of 200 – 250 gr.

ORANGE YAFA (SHAMOUTI)

This type which is especially grown in Mersin region is ideal for fresh consumption. It is very suitable for storage and transportation.

This orange is slightly oval, the coat is yellow and orange in color and rough. Fruit flesh is orange – dark yellow orange. Fruit diameter is 70 – 80 mm, fruit weight is 190 – 200 gr. The number of seeds per fruit is 2-3 pieces.

ORANGE VALENCIA

This type which is especially grown in the Mediterranean region in our country is harvested most lately and it is the sweetest orange. This type which is very resistant to heat is aromatic, delicious and high quality.

The fruit is flat, round and slightly oval. The fruit coat is yellowish orange and slightly rough. Fruit flesh is yellowish orange – orange. This fruit, which has less seeds, has a diameter of 65 – 70 mm and a fruit weight of 160 – 165 gr.

MANDARIN SATSUMA

This type which is especially grown in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean region in our country has an important place in exports.

This is the type which is at most resistant to cold among Citrus. The fruit is rather large and flat, fruit coat is yellow – orange and slightly rough. The flesh of this fruit, which is seedless and highly preferred, is dark orange. Fruit diameter is 50 – 60 mm, fruit weight is 95 – 110 gr.

PRODUCTION : OCTOBER – NOVEMBER – DECEMBER

MANDARIN NOVA

This type has been obtained as a result of hybridization of Klemantin and Orlando tangelo. It is resistant to cold weather and has a high fruit quality. The fruit is large, slightly flat and juicy.

The fruit coat is a slightly dark orange and slightly rough. Fruit flesh is orange color. Fruit diameter is 70 – 90 mm, fruit weight is 160 – 180 gr. It contains 5-20 seeds per fruit depending on fertilization.

MANDARIN MINNELOA

This type which is grown in the Eastern Mediterranean Region has an aromatic, delicious and slightly sour fruit.

The fruit is quite large and has pear-shape. The stem part of the fruit is in a necked structure. Fruit coat is dark reddish orange and has bright and smooth appearance. This fruit flesh, which has 1-2 seeds, is orange, soft and juicy. Fruit diameter is 50 – 60 mm, fruit weight is 100 – 125 gr.

MANDARIN FREMONT

This type of fruit which is exported to Middle East countries has round and small fruits. The fruit coat is dark red, bright and smooth.

Fruit flesh is dark orange and soft. Despite having seed, as the fruit juice of it is very delicious, it is preferred too much. These fruits are 50 – 55 mm in diameter and fruit weight is 60 – 80 gr.

GRAPEFRUIT STAR RUBY

This type which is grown in the Western Mediterranean Region is among the most exported types for fresh consumption.

This grapefruit has the darkest color among all the grapefruits and its shape is round and slightly flat. The fruit coat is red, smooth and very thin. The flesh of the fruit which has few seeds is red, juicy and delicious. Fruit diameter is 100 – 110 mm, fruit weight is 450 – 500 gr.

GRAPEFRUIT RUBY RED

This type which is the most grown in the world is one of the most widely grown type in the Western Mediterranean region in Turkey.

This is aromatic, juicy and high quality medium season type. The fruit is medium in size, flat, round and in the form of bunch. The fruit coat is pink yellow orange and slightly rough. The flesh of this fruit which has 2-3 seeds per fruit is light pink or pink. The diameter of the fruit is 90 – 95 mm, the fruit weight is 300 – 350 gr.

GRAPEFRUIT RIO RED

This is one of the most grown types in the Western Mediterranean Region. This product, which can be stored for up to four months under appropriate conditions, is very suitable for transportation. The fruit shape is long round and medium in size.

The fruit coat is dark red and smooth. The flesh of this fruit, which has about 1-3 seeds, is dark red. Fruit diameter is 100 – 110 mm, fruit weight is 400 – 450 gr.

This type which is grown in the Western Mediterranean Region is one of the oldest white grapefruit types. It is suitable for storage and transportation.

The fruit is slightly flat and round. The fruit coat is yellow, smooth, bright and thin. The flesh of this fruit, which has 2-3 seeds per fruit, is yellow, crispy and juicy. Fruit diameter is 95 – 100 mm, fruit weight is 300 – 350 gr.
